Merritt Curling Club is proud to be opening this year after Oct long weekend. Before that happens there is a lot of work behind the scenes.
For those who don’t know – Merritt Curling Club is a non-profit club and the members take pride in giving back to their club by volunteering. We need volunteers all through the year for different events and classes we hold and we have a lot of fun.
Like the 4-hour work bee – We accomplished: painting, washed windows, vacuumed, washed floors, scrubbed curling broom heads, cleaned out cubby hole in office, washed bathrooms, wiped done all chairs, tables, and lockers, rearranged tables and chairs.
