The much anticipated Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for 5:00 pm on October 15, 2024. Come and hear about the upcoming year and ask any questions you may have.

 Any curler knows that 8-enders are a very rare event. The last one at Merritt Curling Centre was in 2017...until now. Paul Sutton, Emery Grismer, Jim Johnston, and Josh Roda (pictured left to right) are new curlers and a team that was just put together (they didn't all know each other). With a stunning strategy of "let's keep stones in play," they pulled off the eight-ender after Josh, the skip, made a double take-out. They went on to win the game 12-6 against the Number 1 seed team (whom will remain nameless for the purpose of this story).

Our roofing was completed on June 7, 2023. We had a barbeque to celebrate this milestone and to thank the workers who had endured high temperatures to finish the work. Also, thank you to the City of Merritt for the wonderful addition of flowers.
